You can head downtown, try a drink at a brewery, win a game of golf, float down the Animas River, hike through the San Juan National Forest and more.  Finishing the Colorado Trail right here in Durango? Hot Springs

Durango, Colorado, has three hot springs you can visit: Durango Hot Springs, Pinkerton Hot Springs and Pagosa or Ouray. Durango Hot Springs is great for those looking for a hot dip that's relaxing. Pinkerton Hot Springs has cool rock formations, but no pool for you to sink into. Although Pagosa or Ouray can be a bit of a drive, you should consider a visit if you're looking to relax in a place with nice surroundings. 

Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad

Explore the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad and its history. While riding the scenic round trip Silverton train adventure, you'll see Cascade Canyon, the Animas River, and the iconic snowcapped mountains. Upon returning to the depot, visit the free railroad museum.  Create memories with your family and friends that you won't forget.

Ski Resorts

We provide easy access to Durango, Colorado, ski resorts, so you can go skiing or snowboarding at a time that works best for you without having to worry about where you're going to rest your head.

We recommend you go to the Purgatory Resort, which is an hour away from our bed & breakfast. Enjoy the powdery slopes of the San Juan Mountains, or you can take the bike trails down the trails or visit the shops and restaurants there if you're visiting us in the summer.
