Blue Spruce is in the optimal location: We are just minutes from Lemon and Vallecito Reservoirs with fishing and non-motorized boating and within 30 minutes of Lake Nighthorse where you can take fishing or boating tours or enjoy the large obstacle course on the lake. Just a short drive into Durango, and you have access to the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad, historic downtown shops and restaurants, and the Animas River for rafting and fishing or beautiful, scenic walks. We are located within 1.5 hours of Pagosa Springs and Silverton where you can sightsee, shop, dip in the hot springs, and experience delicious treats. On your way back from the Four Corners, stop by Mesa Verde National Park where you can experience the Ancestral Puebloan cliff dwellings. Like biking? The ski slopes become downhill trails for mountain biking, or you can take scenic yet challenging bike rides along the mountain passes.
How do I get to Blue Spruce BnB?

There are two ways to get up the mountain. One is a direct path yet steep; one is less steep but a few more turns. If taking the direct route: Turn onto Trew Creek Road from CR 240. You'll pass between two rock columns as you enter our neighborhood. Take the first left onto Sierra Drive. Follow Sierra Drive until you get to Blue Spruce BnB (959 Sierra Drive). If taking the back way: Turn onto Trew Creek Road from CR 240 between the rock columns for Aspen Trails neighborhood. Take Trew Creek Road until you cross over Trew Creek, and the road then becomes Bear Run. At the T-intersection, take a left onto Turkey Trail. At the next T-intersection, take a right on Sierra Drive and then stay to the right at the split and continue on Sierra Drive. Blue Spruce BnB is at the top of Sierra Drive with a flagpole by the driveway (959 Sierra Drive).

(Small note: Sierra Drive and Elk Lane split at the top of the mountain. If you find yourself on Elk Lane, you will see Blue Spruce BnB on your right. Our driveway cuts through our property, so you can take a right and park in front of the garage.)
